DSC has been using Java for many years, to build high quality and high performance web applications. We started before the days of Enterprise Java Beans and Java Server Pages. We even built our own application server and development framework called 'uView', extracted from our first few successful Java web apps. Now uView has been updated to take advantage of the many fabulous libraries that have been developed.

We can design and build applications for you or provide consultants to work on your own projects, with or without the uView framework.

Whilst we favour Ruby on Rails for most web applications these days, we still use Java for some projects. It's a question of picking the right tool for the job. In particular, Java offers an unparalleled number of third party libraries and modules, integration capabilities and so forth. We also have experience in making Java and Rails work together, in order to reap the benefits of the best of both worlds.
